Oh yes, we were back out again shoving the camera in the places you just don’t get to normally see.
This time we were with our good friends the Armed Forces Race Challenge and the 750 Motor Club Roadsports series for a day of filming, camaraderie, fun and intense on-track action (oh and plenty of laughs) at Donington Park.
Part of the 750 Motor Club bill, the Armed Forces Race Challenge is a thrilling contest that pits the Army, Royal Air force, Navy (and Royal Marines) and Veterans against one another in a field brimmed to the hilt with friendliness but a keen desire to win.
TEGIWA Roadsports is a mini-endurance series for production sports and saloon cars and if you are a car nut then both series will provide you an absolute feast for the eyes.
For example, if you happened to catch any of our Armed Forces Live coverage, you will have noticed a variety of cars on track including the Vauxhall VX220 two-time race-winning car on the day of Mark Inman.
Let me tell you, when Mark thundered past the start-finish straight closely followed by Matty Taylor’s BMW Compact, it was like the opening lap of a BTCC event it was that action-packed.
However, there were even more delights up for grabs in the Roadsports with a Ginetta G27, Porsche Cayman, MR2 Roadster, and even a Vauxhall Corsa!
It is not hard to see why we had such a great time covering the races and qualifying live! whilst getting into the assembly area and paddock to chat to the teams and drivers as the day panned out.
Anyway, now the dust has settled, I am delighted to reveal that over 6000 people tuned into our coverage screened LIVE through the Armed Forces Race Challenge and MySuperCar’s Facebook pages.
Even better than that, our Live Stream content meant over 12,000 people were brought into contact with the Armed Forces Race Challenge and Roadsports brands (yes, its self-promotion but we have to shout about it).
